SOCIAL and CULTURAL EVENTS

In addition to our regular schedule of Speaker and Workshop Series presentations, HLAA Boston Chapter offers a rich menu of social and cultural events for people with hearing loss.  Our chapter offers a book/dinner group,  “quiet restaurant” excursions, and FM and ASL tours made possible through the accessibility department at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.  In addition, a wide range of happenings offered by other hearing loss support groups and institutions such as the  Museum of Science and the Boston Opera House’s Broadway Across America series enable people with hearing loss to enjoy life, stay connected, and become informed.  We invite you to peruse these pages of our website and stay tuned to our news posts about the events and programs that will help you to live well with hearing loss.
Please note that if you would like to plan a social or cultural event or are interested in exploring an event with our steering committee – for a specific age or interest group or for the chapter as a whole – you can contact us at HLAABoston@gmail.com and let us know how the chapter can support your project.  (Please use “New Social Event” on the subject line.  Thanks!)
